Why can’t my dentist just diagnose my sleep apnea?
While dentists are often the first to spot the physical signs of sleep apnea, it is a medical respiratory disorder. In Alberta, professional standards require a physician to provide the official diagnosis to ensure other medical conditions aren’t being overlooked.
Is Botox for neck pain the same as for wrinkles?
The medication is the same, but the technique is very different. For neck and shoulder pain, our physician targets deeper muscle layers to provide functional relief and reduce spasms, rather than just smoothing the skin.
How long do the Botox results last for sweating?
Botox for hyperhidrosis is remarkably long-lasting. Most patients enjoy 6 to 9 months of dryness before a touch-up is needed.
