Chronic Stress & Burnout in Calgary SW

Chronic Stress & Burnout

Chronic stress does more than make you feel overwhelmed – it disrupts sleep, elevates cortisol, drives teeth grinding, worsens jaw pain, and gradually erodes mental and physical resilience. At Westside, we address stress and burnout through two interconnected pathways: EXOMIND™ brain stimulation for mental wellness, and Advanced Sleep assessment for patients whose stress is both driving and being driven by poor sleep.

How we treat it: EXOMIND™ gently stimulates the prefrontal cortex – strengthening the neural pathways involved in stress regulation, emotional control, and cognitive resilience. For patients whose stress is contributing to teeth grinding or jaw pain, Dr. Z can address both the dental consequences and the root cause as part of a coordinated plan. If poor sleep is part of the picture, Dr. Sabah can order an at-home sleep test as part of our Advanced Sleep program.

This care is provided on the medical side of Westside under Dr. Sabah Jarullah, family physician. Every patient begins with a medical assessment; insured visits are covered under the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan. No referral needed.

How Westside helps with chronic stress & burnout

At Westside, mind and mood concerns begin with an assessment by Dr. Sabah Jarullah, our on-site family physician. From there you follow one of two EXOMIND™ TMS pathways – clinical treatment for a diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, OCD or binge eating, or the wellness pathway for brain fog, stress and poor sleep – alongside any therapy or medication you already have.

We are in West Springs, Calgary SW – Suite 1120, 930 – 85th Street SW – serving Aspen Woods, Cougar Ridge, Springbank and the surrounding communities.
