Dr. Zubaida Hussain – Dr. Zee DDS

Dr. Zubaida Hussain – known to her patients simply as Dr. Zee – has been practising dentistry in Calgary since 2011 with one guiding belief: that a dental clinic should treat the whole person, not just the teeth.
That belief is what Westside Dental is built on.
Dr. Zee leads a clinic that deliberately sits at the intersection of dentistry, medicine, and wellness. She has brought together an on-site family physician, a full suite of BTL medical-aesthetic technology, airway-focused care, and drug-free therapeutic programs – creating something that simply doesn’t exist anywhere else in Alberta. Every decision she has made in building Westside Dental has been shaped by a single question: what does the most complete version of care actually look like for this patient?
Her clinical foundation is broad and deliberately chosen. Dr. Zee completed an Implant Residency at the University of Alberta, giving her the surgical precision to deliver permanent tooth replacement solutions with confidence. She is certified in advanced sedation – creating a genuinely anxiety-free environment for patients who have long avoided dental care. She is certified in BTL functional technology, including EMVITAL®, EMFACE®, EXION™, and EXOMIND® – technologies that make Westside Dental the first clinic in Alberta to offer EMVITAL and the official EXOMIND launching partner in the province. And she is an expert in neuromodulator therapy, using Botox therapeutics to treat the root causes of jaw tension, migraines, and TMJ dysfunction rather than simply managing symptoms.
Sleep medicine is one of Dr. Zee’s deepest areas of expertise. She has completed the full four-level Obstructive Sleep Apnea certification program through the University of Alberta’s Mike Petryk School of Dentistry – the most comprehensive dental sleep medicine training pathway available in Alberta. This full-program certification covers everything from sleep physiology and airway assessment through clinical appliance delivery, CBCT analysis, TMD integration, medication and sleep disorder interactions, and pediatric OSA – qualifying Dr. Zee to provide the complete non-surgical management of sleep-disordered breathing for both adult and pediatric patients. Working alongside Dr. Sabah, Westside Dental’s on-site family physician who provides the formal medical diagnosis, Dr. Zee delivers the dental side of a fully integrated sleep care program that is unique in Calgary.
Airway health runs through everything she does. Dr. Zee has integrated orofacial myofunctional therapy into her clinical protocols – retraining the muscles of the tongue and face to support nasal breathing and correct resting posture, addressing the functional root causes of airway obstruction rather than managing the downstream consequences.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Zee finds her balance in the Alberta outdoors – hiking, biking, and making memories with her husband and their three children. She brings that same energy and sense of possibility to every patient she sees.

She is an avid explorer of the Alberta outdoors, finding her balance through hiking, biking, and making memories with her husband, her two daughters and son. She believes that when we breathe better and sleep better, we live better—and she is dedicated to helping every patient unlock that potential.
Drea
Director of Operations
Drea began her career in dentistry in 2006 as a Registered Dental Assistant, building a clinical foundation that continues to shape the way she leads today. As Director of Operations at Westside Dental, she is responsible for the experience every patient has from the moment they walk through the door to the moment they leave – and everything in between.
With nearly two decades in dentistry, Drea understands what great patient care actually looks like in practice. She oversees the day-to-day operations of a clinic that offers far more than traditional dentistry – from needle-free Solea laser procedures and same-day CEREC crowns to aesthetic treatments, physician-led pain relief, and mental wellness services. Keeping all of that running seamlessly, with every patient feeling informed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for, is what drives her.
Drea is a visible presence throughout the clinic – supporting the team, connecting with patients, and making sure every detail of your visit reflects the standard Westside Dental holds itself to. She believes that exceptional care is built on trust, clear communication, and a team that genuinely loves what they do.
Outside of the office, Drea enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Dr.Sabah Jarullah

Dr. Sabah Jarullah is a licensed family physician registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, bringing over two decades of medical experience to his role at Westside Dental.
His clinical background is unusually broad – spanning emergency medicine, hospital-based care, and comprehensive family practice across multiple healthcare settings. Dr. Sabah holds the CCFP designation from the College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada, and both parts of the MRCS from the Intercollegiate Royal College of Surgeons – a combination of credentials that reflects both the depth and range of his medical training.
Dr. Sabah approaches every patient with a whole-body perspective, taking the time to understand the full clinical picture before recommending any course of care. At Westside Dental, he is proud to be part of a team that recognizes how deeply dentistry and medicine are connected – and that believes patients deserve care that reflects that.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Sabah enjoys hiking mountain trails, getting out on his bike, and baking – bringing the same patience and attention to detail to everything he does.

Noora brings a background that most aesthetic providers simply don’t have – a clinical foundation built in pharmacy, where precision, patient safety, and genuine care for people’s wellbeing were non-negotiable from day one.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Management, Noora spent years working in hospital pharmacy – understanding medications, patient health histories, and the responsibility that comes with every treatment decision. That clinical grounding is what makes her approach to aesthetics different. When Noora completed her Advanced Medical Aesthetics Certification, she wasn’t starting from scratch – she was expanding a medical career that was already built on putting patients first.
At Westside Dental, Noora delivers personalized aesthetic treatments with a level of safety awareness and attention to detail that comes from years of working in healthcare environments. Her philosophy is straightforward: the patient’s wellness always comes before anything else. Every treatment she provides is thoughtful, precise, and tailored to the individual in front of her – never a one-size-fits-all approach.
She believes in continuous learning and holds herself to the highest standard of care in everything she does – because her patients deserve nothing less.
Outside the clinic, Noora is a proud mother of two, a loving wife, and someone who recharges best surrounded by family – especially at her parents’ home, her favourite place in the world.
