Best for
Dull or tired-looking skin, uneven tone and superficial pigmentation, rough texture, congested pores and mild breakouts, fine lines, and skin that has lost its glow.
A chemical peel applies a carefully chosen solution to the skin to lift away the dull, damaged outer layers and prompt the skin beneath to renew itself. As the surface turns over, tone looks more even, texture smoother and the skin clearer and more reflective. Peels come in different levels of depth and strength, and the level is what determines the result and the recovery.
At Westside the level of peel is never picked from a menu. Your skin is imaged and assessed first, your goals and your tolerance for downtime are discussed honestly, and Noora, our medical aesthetician, recommends the level that fits – within the physician-supervised aesthetics program directed by Dr. Sabah Jarullah. Peels are often planned alongside EXION™ Face or EMFACE®: the peel refreshes the surface while those treatments work on the layers beneath.
Aesthetic treatments at Westside are medically supervised by Dr. Sabah Jarullah, family physician, and delivered by Noora, our medical aesthetician. Every plan starts with a skin assessment – book your free aesthetic consultation online.

30–45 minutes. The skin is cleansed, the peel is applied and monitored, then neutralized and soothed. Most people feel warmth and tingling that settles within minutes.
Depends on the level of peel chosen at your assessment – from none at all to a few days of visible flaking. You are told exactly what to expect before treatment day.
Most skin types and tones. Your assessment identifies the right level and any preparation needed, and rules out a peel if your skin is not ready for one.
Nothing here is chosen from a menu. Your skin is imaged with Aura 3D, your goals are discussed honestly, and the plan – which applicators, in which order, how many sessions – is built from that. Treatments are provided by Noora, our medical aesthetician, within the physician-supervised aesthetics program at Westside in West Springs, Calgary SW.
That is decided at your skin assessment, not before. The level depends on your skin type, the concern being treated and how much downtime you can accept – so a consultation is needed to determine it.
Most people feel warmth and tingling for a few minutes while the solution is active. It is monitored throughout and neutralized as soon as the target is reached.
Some people see the result they want from one; a series spaced a few weeks apart builds a bigger change. Your plan sets the number, and it can be adjusted as your skin responds.
Yes, with the right level and preparation – which is exactly why the assessment comes first. Deeper tones are prepared and treated with extra care to protect against pigment changes.
Usually the next day for lower-level peels; for deeper levels you are asked to wait until flaking has finished. Sun protection every day afterwards is the one non-negotiable.
Yes. Aesthetic treatments can be financed through Beautifi at 0% interest – ask at your consultation.
