The Science Behind EXION™

TWO EXION TREATMENTS
EXION Fractional RF A next-generation microneedling treatment that delivers monopolar RF energy with AI precision to reach deeper into the skin than any other comparable device — up to 8mm — without requiring full needle insertion. Unlike traditional microneedling, EXION Fractional RF creates a thermal gradient below the needle tips, meaning you get the deep remodelling benefits without the full discomfort or extended recovery of standard RF microneedling. Topical numbing is applied beforehand for comfort. Mild redness for 24–48 hours is normal following this treatment.

Your EXION™ Treatment Experience
Step 1 — Consultation Your provider assesses your skin quality, concerns, and goals for your face. We create a personalized treatment plan, selecting the appropriate EXION treatment and target areas.
Step 2 — Treatment EXION Face is performed with the applicator gliding gently across the skin. Most patients feel a comfortable warming sensation. Sessions typically run 20–30 minutes. EXION Fractional RF uses a mild press-and-release motion — your provider will apply topical numbing cream beforehand for added comfort.
Step 3 — Walk Out EXION Face has no downtime — you can return to your day immediately. EXION Fractional RF may cause mild redness for 24–48 hours following the session.
Step 4 — Results Most patients complete a course of 3–4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Some improvement is visible after the first session, but optimal results develop gradually over 3 months as collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production builds.
Maintenance: Results last 12–18 months. Annual touch-up treatments are recommended to sustain your outcome.
