Drug-Free Depression Treatment in Calgary SW

Drug-Free Depression Treatment

Depression affects how you think, feel, and function in your daily life – and for many people, the search for relief is long and difficult. At Westside, we offer EXOMIND™: a Health Canada-licensed brain stimulation treatment for depression that requires no medication and no downtime.

Results continued to build even after treatment ended.

How it works: EXOMIND™ gently stimulates the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex – the area of the brain most associated with mood regulation and emotional resilience. Over 4 sessions spaced 5–10 days apart, this stimulation promotes neuroplasticity — helping the brain strengthen the neural connections that support positive mood. Dr. Sabah Jarullah, our on-site family physician, assesses patients to determine suitability.

EXOMIND™ is not a replacement for professional mental health care or prescribed medication.

This care is provided on the medical side of Westside under Dr. Sabah Jarullah, family physician. Every patient begins with a medical assessment; insured visits are covered under the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan. No referral needed.

How Westside helps with drug-free depression treatment

At Westside, mind and mood concerns begin with an assessment by Dr. Sabah Jarullah, our on-site family physician. From there you follow one of two EXOMIND™ TMS pathways – clinical treatment for a diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, OCD or binge eating, or the wellness pathway for brain fog, stress and poor sleep – alongside any therapy or medication you already have.

We are in West Springs, Calgary SW – Suite 1120, 930 – 85th Street SW – serving Aspen Woods, Cougar Ridge, Springbank and the surrounding communities.
