EXION™ Face is the needle-free applicator of the EXION™ platform by BTL. It combines monopolar radiofrequency with targeted ultrasound so heat is delivered to a controlled depth in the dermis while the surface stays comfortable – a warm glide rather than a sting. The response is your own: fibroblasts are stimulated to produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, which is why the skin looks firmer and more hydrated over the weeks that follow.

The course
Typically 3–4 sessions spaced about four weeks apart. Some people notice better hydration and texture within four weeks; full results develop over three months as collagen builds, and last 12–18 months with annual maintenance.

All skin types, including sensitive skin (Fitzpatrick I–VI). Your skin is assessed with Aura 3D imaging first so the plan – and the baseline you are measured against – is yours.
Assessment first, every time
Nothing here is chosen from a menu. Your skin is imaged with Aura 3D, your goals are discussed honestly, and the plan – which applicators, in which order, how many sessions – is built from that. Treatments are provided by Noora, our medical aesthetician, within the physician-supervised aesthetics program at Westside in West Springs, Calgary SW.

Does EXION™ Face hurt?
No. Most people describe a warm, comfortable sensation. There are no needles and no numbing is required.
When will I see results?
Hydration and texture can improve within four weeks; firmness builds progressively over about three months as collagen remodels.
How long do results last?
Around 12–18 months depending on skin type and lifestyle, with a yearly maintenance session recommended.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes. EXION™ Face is often combined with EMFACE® for lifting and toning, and with RF microneedling for scars or deeper lines. Your provider builds the sequence at your assessment.
Can I finance treatment?
