Commercial driver medicals, pre-employment exams, and employer or insurance forms – completed by our on-site family physician, in efficient appointments that respect your schedule. Book directly, bring your paperwork, and leave with it done.

What we provide

  • Alberta commercial driver medical examinations – for licence classes that require a physician’s medical report
  • Pre-employment and fitness-for-work medicals – where an employer requires an examination
  • Forms and reports – insurance, disability, employer, and school forms completed with care
  • Sick notes and return-to-work letters

We do not currently provide aviation or immigration medical examinations, which require separately designated examiners.

A note for professional drivers

Your alertness is your livelihood. Westside is also home to a physician-led sleep program with at-home testing – so if your medical raises questions about snoring, daytime sleepiness, or fatigue, the answers are available right here, in the same clinic, without a second waitlist. Many drivers tell us it’s the first time anyone connected the dots.

Coverage box

Driver medicals, occupational exams, and most forms are uninsured services – they are not covered by Alberta Health, by provincial rule, and are paid privately. Fees are provided clearly when you book, before your visit. Regular insured medical care with our physician remains covered by Alberta Health as always.
